This position is ideal for current university students or recent graduates who are considering a future career in teaching. It will allow you to gain the necessary skills and experience for teacher training applications.

  • Cover Supervisor role
  • Flexible working - Must be available minimum 2 days per week.
  • Work available ASAP from 2-5 days per week.
  • Competitive pay rate depending on previous experience.
  • Secondary schools based in Bolton, Bury, Wigan and Salford.

The incoming cover supervisors will be expected to cover pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers across different subject areas. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage behaviour and ensure all tasks are completed by all pupils.

Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education however, any transferrable skills to work with children and young people will be considered. You do not need a teaching qualification.

This role involves supporting schools in the Bolton area as and when they require support. You can work whenever you are available making it perfect for university students who need flexibility around their timetables.

Our partner schools are located across Bolton (work also available in Bury, Salford and Wigan) and can be easily accessed via the M62, M66 and A56 from surrounding areas such as Bury, Swinton and Worsley. For applicants who do not drive, the school also has excellent links to public transport from local areas such as Farnworth, Rivington and Horwich.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
