Cover Supervisor required at a secondary school in Stockport!

Are you looking for flexible cover work in a secondary school near you?

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a mixed, comprehensive secondary school in Stockport who are looking to recruit a cover supervisor on a full time temporary basis to join their support team at the earliest convenience.

As a cover supervisor, you will be required to cover a range of KS3 and KS4 lessons with pre-set work in the event of teacher absence due to sickness and teacher training days. The successful candidate will be able to manage a full class of students and will adhere to the school's behavioural policy.

This is a larger than average secondary school in Stockport and so cover supervisors are a frequent request from the school. With regards to location, the school is situated close to the A6 and M60 motorway and is very accessible from in and around Greater Manchester via public transport.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience working closely with young people aged 11-16 and are considering teaching as a career, or for someone who has applied for a PGCE course and is looking to gain some classroom based experience to support this!
