Are you looking for a Cover Supervisor role in the Salford area?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary School in Salford aiding them in recruiting a new Cover Supervisor for after the October Half Term 2019.

  • Full-time role available to suit your availability following the October half term break until the end of the academic year.
  • Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas.
  • Supporting students across the curriculum and ability range.
  • Delivering pre-set work and leading classes in the absence of teachers.
  • Earn up to GBP300 per week dependent on experience.
  • Gain invaluable experience towards teaching training applications.
  • Must have transferable experience to work within secondary education.

A cover supervisor position is the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses or for those looking for some experience alongside a current course. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education.

Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;

  • Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers
  • Managing behaviour and ensuring tasks are completed by pupils
  • Working alongside senior teachers to improve attainment across a range of abilities
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability. 

Located in Salford, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the A580 and the M602 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Bury, Bolton and central Manchester.
