Job description

Teaching personnel are working in collaboration with several Bury based Secondary schools to appoint experienced Cover Supervisors seeking a full time or part time position from April 2019.

  • Full time or part time Cover Supervisor required from April 2019.
  • Must have previous experience working with young people within an Education capacity.
  • Opportunity to gain hands on experience across various Bury based Secondary schools.
  • Earn up to £70 per day.

What to expect?

As the successful cover Supervisors you will be required to;

  • Providing classroom supervision for pupils in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Carry out any additional duties and responsibilities requested by Senior Leadership in line with the grade expectations of this post.
  • Confidently able to cover all curriculum lessons, including practical areas such as Physical Education where applicable.

The successful Cover Supervisors must be well organised, hardworking and enthusiastic in the delivery of lessons to pupils across the school board. Due to the changing nature of the role, we are seeking to appoint confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to coordinate and supervise whole class lessons during the short term absence of teaching staff.

This co-educational school is based in the Ramsbottom region of Bury and has just over 700 pupils on roll aged 11-16. There are easy access options via the M60/M66 as well as the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale, and Preston.
