Bury based cover supervisor required for an over subscribed Secondary school starting immediately on a full time basis.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a dynamic Secondary school to appoint several Cover Supervisors for their internal cover team. If you have prior experience working within the Education sector or wish to pursue a career teaching then please see the details below.

  • Full time Cover Supervisor required immediately, Bury secondary school.
  • Must have prior experience working within the Education sector or supporting young people.
  • Opportunity to gain practical experience within a dynamic Secondary school.
  • Earn up to £55- £70 per day.

What to expect?

As the successful cover Supervisors you will be required to;

  • Providing classroom supervision for pupils in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Carry out any additional duties and responsibilities requested by Senior Leadership in line with the grade expectations of this post.
  • Confidently able to cover all curriculum lessons, including practical areas such as Physical Education where applicable.

The successful Cover Supervisors must be well organised, hardworking and enthusiastic in the delivery of lessons to pupils across the school board. Due to the changing nature of the role, we are seeking to appoint confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to coordinate and supervise whole class lessons during the short term absence of teaching staff.

This -educational school is based in the Ramsbottom region of Bury and has just over 700 pupils on roll aged 11-16. There are easy access options via the M60/M66 as well as the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale, and Preston.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
