Opportunity to work as an unqualified teacher within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school near Bolton.

  • Flexible Cover Supervisor work.
  • Work available from January 2022.
  • Providing guidance in the absence of teachers and support staff.
  • ‘Become a cover supervisor’ course available for candidates with limited experience.

On a daily basis, our client secondary school in Bolton requires cover supervisors to support pupils within a classroom when the teacher is absent. Working as a cover supervisor does not involve any planning or marking and therefore, schools are happy to have candidates who are not qualified to teach. The school are looking for reliable applicants who can be available between 2 and 5 days per week.

All work will always be pre-planned, and the incoming cover supervisor will simply be required to distribute work and ensure pupils stay on task. Prospective candidates will ideally have previous experience supporting children and young people. Work is available on flexible, ad hoc basis alongside full-time and part-time opportunities.

Our client school is located in Bolton and can be accessed by the M62 motorway and the A586 meaning it is accessible via car and public transport from surrounding areas such as Bury, Worsley and Wigan.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
