This position is ideal for graduates considering going on to a teacher training programme in the future.
- Full-time Cover Supervisor role.
- Work available immediately – part time and flexible work also available.
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month, depending on experience.
- Experience working with young people or transferrable skills is desirable.
- Secondary school based in between Salford and Bolton.
Applicants will ideally have previous experience working with young people but do not need a teaching qualification. Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including:
- Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers.
- Managing behaviour and ensuring tasks are completed by pupils.
- Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages and ability.
- Assessing and evaluating pupils’ progress in the absence of the teacher.
Our partner school is located near Salford and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester including Bolton, Leigh and central Manchester via the M62 and A580. For non-drivers, our client schools can also be accessed via several forms of public transport from areas such as Worsley, Farnworth and Leigh.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
