Teaching Personnel are working with a school in the Salisbury area who is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for the new academic year.

The Academy is a highly inclusive, innovative school, which serves the Salisbury area of Wiltshire. Recently graded 'Good' by OFSTED, the Academy has transformed itself into a high performing school over the past three years. OFSTED noted that: 'The quality of school leadership has improved since the previous inspection. As a result, expectations of what pupils can achieve are higher. Leaders have created a culture in which high standards of behaviour are expected and pupils are encouraged to succeed.'

The role of the Cover Supervisor is to oversee classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. This is a demanding role, as you deal with students of all ages and abilities in different subjects. You must have a desire to work with young people, a calm and authoritative manner, and be adaptable. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is considering a career in education. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
