Location: South Yorkshire (Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time, Flexible

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit confident, adaptable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in South Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, develop teaching skills, or explore a career in education.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task

  • Deliver pre-prepared work and manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Support students with learning where necessary

  • Report back to teaching staff regarding progress and any issues

  • Work across a range of schools, year groups and subject areas

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage behaviour and engage learners

  • Confidence working with young people

  • Experience in education, youth work or similar settings is beneficial

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
