Secondary School Cover Supervisor – Kettering
Pay: £100–£120 per day
Start: ASAP / Ongoing Opportunities
Location - Kettering

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in education? Do you have a passion for supporting young people and maintaining a positive learning environment? Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a thriving secondary school in Kettering.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers

  • Ensure students remain on task with pre-set work

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Provide support to students where needed

  • Build confidence and experience working within a school setting

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need formal teaching qualifications, but you must:

  • Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • Be confident leading a classroom

  • Be adaptable and proactive

  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) a DBS on the Update Service

This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or anyone with experience working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
