Would you like the opportunity to work as an unqualified teacher/cover supervisor in a fatastic school in the New Forest Area.
We are seeking an enthusiastic cover supervisor to join our partner school in the New Forest. The successful cover supervisor will work as an unqualified teacher, supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. They will give instructions for the lesson as provided by a teacher with the primary focus of maintaining good order and keeping pupils on task. The successful applicant will not be required to prepare or plan work but will be respond to general questions and provide feedback to teachers.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience supporting students aged 11-16 in an educational setting. We would also welcome applications from candidates who have relatable experience such as Youth Work, Sports Coaching. This is also an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching.
The successful cover supervisor will be required on a full time basis from November 2019 until the end of the academic year. Whilst this is a temporary position in the first instance, there is a possibility for this position to become permanent for the successful applicant.
