Cover Supervisor - Graduate: Secondary school experience

Are you a recent graduate who is confident and keen to work in the education sector?

Have you completed your degree and looking for regular work within a secondary school in the Sale area?

A secondary school in the Sale area are looking for confident and motivated graduates that are keen to work within the education sector. The successful graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor should be able to manage a classroom of children aged 11 - 16 in this mixed secondary school. This position will provide the graduate with valuable experience within a secondary school setting and benefit an aspirational teacher, possibly looking to complete a PGCE in the future.

  • Gain extremely valuable experience within a secondary school in South Manchester, Sale
  • Highly supportive school and leadership team looking to recruit graduates
  • Opportunity to develop into a long term position and take on teacher trainingThe school is situated in the M33 postcode area of Sale, which is easily accessible via the M60 and M56 motorway. The school is also easily accessible via public transport from the city centre and well serviced by local buses.
  • The successful graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor will have the opportunity to work alongside qualified teachers in a thriving environment, assisting and supporting within a classroom setting. The successful individual should be confident, have very strong classroom management skills and be able to deal with any behavioural issues which may arise. The school is a good school in the Sale area and highly supportive of all staff within the school. The school particularly likes a Cover Supervisor that interacts with the students within the classroom with good movement, engaging students in the subject(s) being covered.

  • Gain experience ideal to support a future PGCE application
  • Opportunity to work with a diverse range of students in a vibrant, pleasant and highly supportive secondary school
  • This role is highly suitable for:
  • Graduate with prior experience working with young people
  • Individual with Cover Supervisor experience, with strong classroom management
  • Confident individual who is able to engage well with secondary school aged students
  • Youth worker who is looking for more school based experience
  • Those looking for school based experience whilst earning up to £65 per day

Prior experience in a secondary school is not essential but the successful individual should be confident and have strong classroom management skills.
