One of our ofsted rated good schools in the Didcot area are seeking to recruit a new Cover Supervisor to join their team on a regular basis. This is a part time opportunity to start through the agency and then transfer onto the school's contracts quickly if successful in the role!

This secondary school is praised for being one of the more successful comprehensives in the UK and offering well rounded support across the many departments in the school as well as senior leadership.

As the new Cover Supervisor in this role you will need to;

  • Engage and build positive rapport with entire classrooms across the school
  • Use your natural presence and confidence to deliver the cover work left by the teacher - aiming to have the lesson objectives completed by the end of the lesson
  • Manage classroom behaviour by working with the school's behaviour policy
  • Have a general understanding of the subjects taught in the KS3-4 curriculum (being a specialist is not essential)
  • Collaborate and support other Cover Supervisors already in the team
  • Have a genuine desire to inspire and support every pupil's academic, emotional & social progression
