Core Subject Tutor

Are experienced in working with Looked After Children?
Teaching Personnel are currently hiring tutors throughout Nottingham and the surrounding areas to provide intervention tuition to vulnerable young people.
We are an approved provider for multiple Local Authorities and provide tuition to a variety of students. This can included children with Special Educational Needs, those who have been excluded from mainstream school or Looked After Children who may have moved area and / or are without a school place.
The pupils may also present with challenging behaviour, so we require tutors with an understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Normal working hours are 9am - 4pm Monday - Friday
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Experienced working with Looked After Children.
- Nurturing and patient approach, able to build and maintain positive relationships
- Able to plan an deliver engaging cross-curricular lessons
- Able to work face to face in
- Recent safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
