Core Subject Graduates

Job description

A client school in Central Manchester (M12) are seeking a core subject graduate to join their KS2 team in the run up to the SATS. The ideal candidates will be expected to deliver small group intervention sessions to aid Year 5 and Year 6 children who need that extra push to help raise attainment across core subject areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and will be looking to pursue a degree in education.

This two form entry primary schools believes that every child has the right to the best possible education and are seeking dedicated practitioners who will have a positive impact on learning across KS2. The interventions Teaching Assistant positions will start ASAP, or as soon as the relevant checks have been completed and will run up until the end of the academic year.

To be considered for this position you must:

  • Be a Graduate with a degree in either English or Maths
  • Have experience working with children in an education setting or equivalent
  • Be looking to begin a career in education

The school are looking for 2 Core subject Graduates to join their KS2 team as interventions Teaching Assistants ASAP. If you have the relevant experience and are looking for a full time position, you are encouraged to get in touch for immediate consideration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
