Computer Science Teacher required in the Ilford area

The School

A lovely secondary school in the Ilford area is seeking a computer science teacher. The school was rated "GOOD" in all categories by Ofsted and boasts impressive exam result. The school has an effective behaviour policy to create an ideal learning and teaching environment.

The Role

The school is seeking a computer science teacher to work full time in a high achieving department. You will have outstanding qualifications and experience in computer science and the ability to teach classes of 30 up to KS4 and desirably KS5. This role is perfect for a new or established computer science teacher, seeking a new challenge and to work in an ideal teaching environment.


  • Possess a "child only" DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one (£44).
  • Ideally hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE etc.) in computer science.
  • Ideally have a degree in computer science or similar subject.
  • Have experience teaching computer science to a class of 30 at Key Stage 3 and 4. Key Stage 5 is desirable.
  • Have a passion for teaching computer science and the ability to educate and motivate pupils so that they achieve their full potential.
