  • Full time Computer Science teacher (1 year initially)
  • Ofsted graded Good secondary school with an excellent management and leadership team
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,467 - £38,250)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Computer Science teacher on behalf of our client school in Bolton ahead of September 2017.

- Full time Computer Science teacher (1 year initially)

- Ofsted graded Good secondary school with an excellent management and leadership team

- Teaching Computer Science up to GCSE level

- Pay in line with experience (MPS1-UPS3)

Due to a staffing gap, our client school wish to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Computer Science teacher ahead of the new academic year. This is initially on a 1 year fixed term basis; however it is highly likely that the incoming Computer Science teacher will have the opportunity to gain a permanent post following the initial employment.

The ideal Computer Science teacher will be able to provide creative and engaging practice to pupils of all ability levels. The successful Computer Science teacher will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities including; planning and delivering lesson that reflect ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ practice, assessment of pupils, marking and monitoring attainment.

Our client school located in Bolton is a 11-16 Roman Catholic High School with an excellent reputation. The successful applicants will benefit from joining a strong team of staff and working within a well facilitated department. Located in Bolton, in the Horwich area, the school is easily accessible via the M61 motorway. The school also offers free parking to staff; alternatively the public transport links are very accessible to the surrounding areas, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester and Wigan.
