Computer Science Teacher – KS3 to KS5

Location: Wirral (Wallasey)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent

Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of tech innovators? We are seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 to KS5 that inspire students to develop their digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for planning and teaching the Computer Science curriculum and ensuring students are well-prepared for examinations and future opportunities in technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons up to A-Level.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and enrichment opportunities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science.
  • Ability to teach across KS3–KS5.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
