Classroom Support Assistant required in Leeds

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School in Leeds who are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant who is available full-time ideally as soon as possible.

The role will be supporting the new intake of Early Years children who are starting school for the first time. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children and who has a patient and caring nature.

Candidates with experience working with children or those with Special Needs is required and a working knowledge of Makaton, Moving and Handling, PECs or Team Teach is desirable (but not essential).

If you have a lot to give and want to make a difference to the lives of children with SEN or if you are wanting to expand your experience across a wider age and ability range then this role is for you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
