About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary SEN campus in Poole.

This is a full time, immediate start vacancy, working with primary-aged pupils (5 to 12 years old) with Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism (ASD).
Working hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm.
What You Will Be Doing

Supporting pupils with ASD and MLD to access classroom activities
-
Providing one to one and small group support
-
Helping pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
-
Assisting with sensory learning and play-based activities
-
Working alongside teachers and other support staff as part of a friendly team
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:

A minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs
-
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships
-
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
-
A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
Experience from nurseries, schools, youth work, residential care, or similar environments is welcomed.
