Are you a Teacher looking for September work? Teaching Personnel Bristol are currently recruiting for a Fully Qualified Teacher for a fixed term contract for 1 year in an Ofsted rated Outstanding Academy in the beautiful City of Bath.

This position will be full time for the length of the next academic, so if you are seeking a new opportunity in a fantastic setting, that caters specifically for pupils with special educational needs, please read on to discover more about the role and if it is for you.

The school caters for pupils at primary, secondary and post 16 which enables the curriculum to be delivered at the differing levels required meeting the student's individual needs.

This position will be within the secondary department and will the suitable Teacher will require recent experience of working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs. The schools likes to adopt an exceptionally creative approach to their teaching and offer the fully curriculum coupled with a broad range of additional activities for personal and social growth.

About the role:

  • The successful candidate will begin in post October half term
  • The role is for the academic year 18/19 and will be full time with a possibility to go permanent
  • You must be able to teach both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Experience with and/or interested in Special Education Needs, particularly SEMH/EBD
  • Be able to differentiate lesson to meet the individual needs of the pupils
  • Have an enthusiastic and motivational and resilient approach to your teaching style
  • The pay for these roles will be at a daily rate between £110 - 145 per day (dependant on experience)

Teaching Personnel work with schools and academies all over the Bristol and South Gloucestershire areas. Most of our schools are accessible via public transport and so your own transport is not a requirement to work with us.

As well as Secondary, we also work with Primary and Special Educational Needs schools so please also get in touch if you would like teaching roles in either of these - our Primary and SEN teams would love to hear from you!

The behaviour in our schools is generally of a good standard - we don't work with any schools that are overly challenging. However, as can be expected from most schools there may be pockets of low level disruption at times!
