Class Teacher Required

A larger than average sized primary school, who have been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted, are currently seeking to appoint a highly-motivated teacher, for their exciting and friendly school, where all staff are able to work together in order to achieve the best for their pupils. The staff has a real passion to ensure that everyone is able to achieve Outstanding practice supporting one another where needed, creating a strong team ethic throughout school. The School is located in the Winstanley area of Wigan and so can be easily accessed via Warrington, Ashton, Golborne, Wigan, Standish, Hindley, Orrell and Skemersdale.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, providing all pupils with the skills they need in order to progress during each lesson.
- Deliver an engaging and broad curriculum.
- Have a thorough knowledge of age-appropriate teaching and learning strategies.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
- Have excellent organisational, communication and behaviour management skill.
- Be able to planning and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage pupils to stretch and challenge themselves in order to reach their true potential.
- Have a strong classroom presence and be able to implement effective behaviour management skills that reward positive behaviour.
- Be able to create a safe, caring and nurturing environment that is able to support the needs of all learners.
