Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the new academic year (3rd September 2018). The school is located in LS12 just 20 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The school have previously achieved above 50% in the 2017 KS2 SATs and are looking for a Year 6 Teacher who can support under achieving pupils in KS2 during the preparation for the SATs in the new academic year.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Fully qualified or Newly qualified teacher who has recent experience teaching in KS2
- SATs experience (not compulsory)
- Available full-time
- DBS
School
The school received 'Good with Outstanding features' at its last Ofsted in 2017 and last year received above 55% in the SATs across the entire school. Literacy is a subject which KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is confident in delivering Reading and Writing to Year 6 pupils. The school have roughly 463 pupils and have a small amount of SEN pupils in school.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
