Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school in the Wakefield area. This is a two-form entry school with a warm and family-like ethos. This role is a long-term contract in a KS1 class that is due to start in September and run until the end of the autumn term with the potential to go permanent. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work in an excellent and thriving school.
This role would involve settling in and immediately beginning preparation ahead of the Phonics screening and KS1 SATs which are expected to run as normal next year. Ideally the candidate would be a teacher with experience in preparing for and administering Phonics sessions and KS1 SATs, with in-depth knowledge of the curriculum and a track record of raising attainment.
You will be teaching and leading a lovely, well behaved Year 1 class and work alongside a small close-knit team. You will follow the school vision and ethos, striving to provide pupils with the best learning environment, teaching an exciting and engaging curriculum.
The role will suit a Qualified Primary Teacher with a strong academic track record and the ability to build good working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
PAYE - £110 - £180 per day depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
