Citizenship Teacher

Job description

A medium sized secondary academy are looking to appoint a teacher of citizenship for the 2019/2020 academic year. who is available on a 0.8FTE basis to start at the October Half Term until July 2020.

The role is currently open to NQTs and experienced teachers and the role is paid to scale (capped at M6) from day one.

The successful applicant will be teaching Citizenship up to Y11 across the entire ability range. Students are in mixed cohorts so differentiation will be key, as well as strong classroom management and a professional manner.

The school is situated in the Barnsley making it very easy to access for any teacher on public transport, train or bus and a large secure on site car park.

  • Paid through Teaching Personnel pay roll (PAYE), not an Umbrella company
