Chief Executive Officer required for Catholic Academy Trust (Part-time)
- Up to £79,000 [Pro Rata] to be negotiated depending on qualifications and experience.
- Responsible for the Trust's Head teachers and Strategic Support roles.
- Based in Cheshire, North West.
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking an outstanding strategic leader to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer that will develop, articulate and maintain the Catholic vision, values and ethos of the Trust. This role would be suited to existing or former headteachers that have experience of driving standards across a collective of schools or affiliates.
Essential
- Educated to degree level
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Practising Catholic
- Able to articulate a clear philosophy for Catholic education
- Commitment to leadership role in spiritual development of pupils and staff
- Experience of successfully leading and managing whole school change initiative
Desirable
- Experience of working in a Catholic school
- Experience of Headship with demonstrable outcomes for pupils
- Experience of successful budget/financial management
- Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies or equivalent
- National Leader of Education/Local Leader of Education
Personal Specification Criteria (full criteria on request)
- Strategic: facilitating the Boards aims and objectives, maintaining a culture of constant improvement
- Leadership Management: Provide motivational and inspirational leadership at all levels of the organisation
- Resources/Change Management: Responsible for meeting the demands of changing legislation, new initiatives and changing practice.
- Teaching & Learning / School Improvement: Hold and articulate Catholic doctrine values and moral purpose, focused on providing a Catholic education for all children and young people
- Finance and Procurement: The CEO will be the Accounting Officer for the Trust ensuring that the Trust works to the standards set out in the Academies Financial Handbook and that Directors are presented with accurate and timely reports
- Compliance: Ensure that Trust meets all legislative and statutory requirements
- Partnerships: Develop and lead a partnership strategy that ensures the Trust and its academies work in collaboration with other schools in the area
