Chemistry Teacher – Stockport

  • Pay ranging from £90 - £160
  • Teaching in a 'Good' graded Ofsted school

Our client school is seeking to appoint an inspirational Chemistry teacher to join the innovative Chemistry department at a school in the Stockport area. The Chemistry post is for a September 2017 start and will be a full time position. The successful Chemist will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to teach all Science subject areas to KS3 and specialise in Chemistry to KS4 and KS5.

The school is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and is therefore looking for an ambitious and well-qualified Chemistry teacher to join their forward thinking Science department. The most recent Ofsted inspection rated the school as ‘Good’ with 70% of students achieving above a C grade in English and Maths. The school is located in peaceful surroundings within the Stockport area and accessible via the M60 and regular public transport.

The aspiring Chemistry teacher should be able to plan lessons effectively and take on marking responsibilities for this full time post starting in September.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
