Are you a Chemistry Teacher seeking a new role in September?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a secondary school in Blackburn who are seeking a Chemistry Teacher for the new academic year. The role is full time, delivering KS3/4 Science with a weighting towards Chemistry and the role is due to last for at least two full terms as it is covering a maternity leave in the department.

The School is larger than average and is located close to the M65 motorway. Pupils in this School often exceed their target GCSE grades with 78% of pupils achieving 5 GCSE's (including English and Maths) A*- C in the last academic year. The pupils behaviour in School is good and the staff are welcoming and inclusive.

The candidate will be suitably qualified, have experience delivering KS3/4 Science, especially Chemistry and have strong classroom management skills. The candidate must be available full time and be willing to work on a supply basis in the first instance and the post may or may not become a permanent position.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
