The Headteacher and Head of Department at a mixed comprehensive Secondary school, based in the heart of Bury are seeking to appoint a skilled Chemistry Teacher on a full time basis from October 2019.

  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant subject specific qualification within Chemistry to be considered.

  • Plan, prepare and monitor class work reporting back to Senior Leadership accordingly.
  • Experience working within the Chemistry curriculum at Key Stage 3-4 is essential and any additional experience will be highly beneficial.
  • Manage behaviour in accordance to the school behaviour policies.
  • Promote a growth mind set amongst all young people in order to raise attainment.
