-Part time hours available as well as full time.

-Experience working in either Year 1 or 2 is preferable

-NVQ/BTEC or CACHE level 2 or above qualification is a necessity

Are you level 2 or above qualified? Are you experienced in KS1? Then maybe this is the role for you…A school, located in Blackburn BB2, amongst a number of low socio-economic households, have approached Teaching Personnel in order to source a Teaching Assistant to work across a number of classes in KS1, starting part-time from the May 2018. The Head teacher has been in role over 5 years and has developed strong working relationships amongst her staff, parents and children, which has been successful noting the challenging backgrounds from which the children come from. She has commented on the role saying 'this will be challenging due to the nature of the children we have here…the successful candidate will need to be able to follow our behaviour policy and build strong relationships with the children and parents very quickly- we need someone who has the experience and the personality'.

The working hours are yet to be confirmed, however the expectation will be that the successful candidate will work every day during the mornings. This is a good opportunity to secure yourself long term work in an Ofsted GOOD school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
