Challenging Behaviour - Support Mentor

Job description

Are you looking for a 1 to 1 role supporting students aged 11-16 with challenging behaviour?

This role is based in chippenham and provides full time alternative education for young people who are no longer able to attend their previous school or people referral unit. If you are looking to support a pupil on the 1:1 basis and have a passion for working with pupils with challenging behaviour this role could be perfect for you! A typical school day would include; academic studies in the morning and vocational studies in the afternoon for example; Trip to a farm for activities including team building activities.

Full time role!
£60 - £70 per day!
ASAP Start!

You'll be successful if you have:

  • A Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
  • Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
  • Enthusiasm and confidence to work in this environment.
  • A clean UK driving License with a access to a vehicle 5 days a week
