Casual SEN Teaching Assistant
We are currently looking for teaching assistants to work on a day to day basis in our special schools across North London, specifically around the Enfield, tottenham, Archway and Islington areas. You will work with children with mild to severe special education needs including Autism, Down's Syndrome, PMLD and some speech and language difficulties.
Our schools provide a nurturing and supportive environment for teachers, teaching assistants and students alike. They offer all staff a comprehensive induction upon arrival at the school and strive to create a work environment in which staff enjoy coming to and a school where children of all abilities are able to learn in a way that maximises their potential and highlights their strengths.

We also work with a number of other SEN schools across North London with day 2 day staffing needs so you will have the opportunity to experience a variety of different SEN school environments and teaching styles.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be organised and proactive
- Have some experience working with children with SEN
- Ideally have some experience using PECS, Makaton or BSL (desirable but not a necessity)
- Have right to work in the UK
