Job description

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking Teachers with a specialist subject in the Bournemouth area. The demand for subject specialists in Secondary schools in Bournemouth and the surrounding area is always high and we always have a range of roles available. We work with schools, academies, independent and international schools, so whatever your preference, we are confident that we can help find your perfect role.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Both experience and a passion for teaching,
  • Good behaviour management and organisational skills,
  • A dedicated and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

NQT's are also encouraged to apply

In return, Teaching Personnel offers all Teachers:

  • Professional support from our team of experienced consultants
  • A wide variety of positions, both day to day and long-term
  • Continued support through placements
  • Weekly Pay
  • Access to our range of CPD courses.

This is a good opportunity for any teacher looking to gain experience in a variety of schools or if you are looking to fit teaching work around other plans. Equally, if you are looking for something more permanent, registering with Teaching Personnel will help support your job hunt and will work with you to find the right school for you, improve your CV and organise interviews and trials for you in local schools.

You will also need a DBS certificate which is registered on the Update Service (if you don't have one, you can apply for it during the registration process.) Our daily rate ranges from £100-£139 per day depending on experience, and we make sure to negotiate pay rates with the schools we work with to secure you the best possible rate.

If you are a teacher and this sounds like something that would interest you then please apply below. From there one of our team will be in contact to discuss what kind of role you are looking for, then we will organise a face to face meeting which gives us the chance to get to know you better. Our dedicated and experienced consultants will then speak to schools on your behalf and market your skills and find you the perfect teaching role for you.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
