Level 3 Teaching Assistant - North Sheffield

  • Full time Level 3 Teaching Assistant
  • The role will be a combination of 1:1 and small group work with specified children that are under achieving
  • To start initially in year 2 with the possibility of spending time in year 1

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a primary school in North Sheffield, We are looking to appoint a strong level 3 teaching assistant to join their team ASAP.

You will be working within their dynamic and elaborate Key Stage 1 department supporting pupils on a 1:1 and group basis. As a level 3 teaching assistant you will be expected to help aid under achieving pupils development and progression working through the National Curriculum. Some pupils will have mild learning difficulties, so you must demonstrate proficient knowledge of working with children with additional needs. Previous experience of working with pupils with Autism, ADHD and EAL would come in useful at this school.

The school are looking for a level 3 teaching assistant to work on a full time basis for therest of the academic year. The school will offer the most suitable candidate the opportunity to further their career through ample training opportunities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
