Business Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a qualified Business teacher to join a large, rural, high achieving Academy school in South Gloucestershire. The role will begin in September 2018 and is long term for the entirety of the school year. You will be expected to full immerse yourself into the school life by taking on all the responsibilities of a teacher such as lesson planning and marking.
You MUST have QTS and a valid DBS - without these you will not be able to work. Teaching Personnel can provide guidance on how to apply for a DBS if necessary.
The School:
The school has recently received a multi-million investment from the academy for new buildings and state of the art facilities. The school is very high achieving with excellent KS4 and post-16 examination results. The school received the highest percentage of GCSES A*-C in the county (73%).
Despite the schools good results the latest OFSTED report states that it is a school which requires improvement. However, the report does highlight that the academy has put in place a number of processes in order to make these improvements. One of the issues raised in the report is that "pupils do not show an active interest in their work. They lack the resilience to keep going when they are not able to understand and this causes them to leave work unfinished" So the successful candidate should be passionate and enthusiastic in order to engage and captivate a classroom.
Benefits of the role:
Working with us at Teaching Personnel Ltd you will have your own Personal Recruitment Consultant dedicated to finding you work and offering support at all times.
At Teaching Personnel we care about all our candidates and want to ensure you are paid a fair and competitive rate. The pay for this role will be between £110-165 a day dependant on experience.
Other benefits of working with us include:
- Flexibility to work in schools local to you
- Access to our CPD Academy
- Weekly Pay
- Pension Scheme
If this is a role you are interested in please do not hesitate to get in touch to find out more, or to apply with your CV.
