THE SCHOOL:
Our client school is a successful, oversubscribed, multicultural comprehensive school situated in a leafy part of North London. Deemed Good by OFSTED in November 2016, the school has excellent links with the local community.
With 1550 on roll, a thriving 6th form and passionate and engaged teaching staff the school is a highly sought after place to work. The behaviour policy has been in place and successful for a long time and is implemented by committed and visible SLT.
With a passion for art, drama and sport the school tends produce free thinking and considerate students are keen on learning and passionate about succeeding.
It is a short walk from the closest over ground station, served by many local buses and ample parking facilities.
THE ROLE:
Wanted for an immediate start, an enthusiastic, committed and creative Teacher of Business who:
* Is passionate about learning
* Is an outstanding classroom practitioner
* Is committed to the achievement of all pupils
* Wants to make a difference
Business and Economics are popular subjects taught by a successful and cohesive Department, with a good exam record. The courses studied are Edexcel, GCSE, BTEC Level 2 and 3,CTEC and GCE A'Level. The role is 5 days per week.
REQUIERMENTS:
Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
Previous UK teaching experience - Business Studies ideally to KS5
A can do/proactive attitude
