Science Teacher needed after Christmas at a Secondary School in Stockport
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for Science Teachers to join one of our client schools in Stockport.
The successful candidate will be paid in line with their Teacher Pay Scale, M1 to UPS3, (£30,000 to £46,525 per annum).
This will be a full-time role and it will begin on the 8th of January.
To be cleared for work, you will be required to:
- Provide a minimum of two employment-based references.
- Apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check.
- Once this check has been completed, you will be required to register it with the Update Service.
The school that you will be working in is an Ofsted ‘Good’ school, located in an affluent area of Stockport. The school offers a welcoming environment for temporary staff. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities to be placed onto a permanent contract within school. Alternatively, you will be offered other science-based teaching roles within one of our client schools in the Stockport area.
During this role, you will have the same responsibilities as a permanent member of staff, including planning and marking. It is essential that you provide the pupils with well planned lessons and resources that will support them with their learning development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
