About the School

This school is looking for a committed and dedicated business studies teacher to join their community centred school. They organise social and fundraising events aimed to enhance the education of their students whilst including parents, staff and supporting the family group. They have a Sixth Form centre in the school to continue the development of their students helping them plan for further education of life after education.

They aim to promote an ethic of hard work as they not only develop children's academia, but assist their learning as the have integrated a "learning to learn" program. This helps children grow into well rounded and respectable citizens who integrate and assist the community.

Ofsted have rated the school as "good" and the leadership maintain good standards with middle management upholding the values and standards

Ofsted were quote saying:

About the role

Business Studies Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating engaging lessons relatable to the real world in line with the National Curriculum

Teachers will be expected to raise student attainment and get them excited about learning

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans, mark the student's work and assist those who struggle with the course content.

Location

The school is accessible via Kingsbury underground (5 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching business studies at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)
