Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Burnley based SEN School who are looking for an experienced and hard working Teacher from January. The School is smaller than average and currently has under 100 pupils on roll, therefore class sizes vary from 6 - 10 pupils. The School specifically caters for pupils with SEN including; Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities, PMLD and ODD. The School are looking for a KS3/4 Teacher who is willing to deliver a range of subjects - assistance with planning and preparation will be given.

The role will be full time from January 2019 - Easter 2019 as a minimum. The School hours are 8.40am - 3.30pm and you will be expected to deliver 1:1 intervention with pupils who are struggling academically. The School are looking for a qualified, hard working, empathetic and energetic Teacher who has experience working with pupils who have additional needs.

The candidate must hold a Teaching qualification, primary, secondary and FE specialisms will all be considered as all the pupils are working at different levels and differentiation will be a big part of this role. The candidate will be hard working, looking for a long term role ideally and be passionate about enriching the lives of pupils with additional needs.
