BSL teaching assistant needed in Swansea

Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN experienced teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Swansea in the Autumn term. The schools are looking for a full time TA to work with a child with hearing impairments so a certificate in British Sign Language is essential. The selected TA will be asked to work full time hours Monday – Friday. To be considered for this role you must be a BSL trained, have recent experience of working within the foundation phase, able to work within mainstream classes with children who are hearing, have a current DBS registered on the update service and be able to provide two references from your most recent employers. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
