BSL (British Sign Language) Assistant – IMMEDIATE START
** BSL Interpreter - Teaching Assistant – Learning Support – British Sign Language Interpreter / Assistant – Isleworth – West London – Central London – Hounslow – Twickenham – Kingston – BSL Assistant – TA – LSA – Graduate Teaching Assistant **
This is an exciting opportunity to support a bright and enthusiastic young student, using BSL or sign supported English, to act as an interpreter within a small class with a team of student support assistants.

BSL Assistant - Isleworth

- GBP12/hour (higher rate available dependant on experience).
These posts are situated in the main campus at a well established college. The facilities are modern and grounds cover a vast area. The college is a social hub for young adults in the local area with many enrolling from “GOOD” to “OUSTANDING” Schools in the local area. The staff are both friendly and supportive and will give you all the training you need (and more!) to succeed in this position and gain valuable experience for your career.
Full Time - 39 hours per week - Term Time Only – Long Term/Permanent
The successful applicant will have Level 2 BSL and will support a “total communication” approach with the support of the speech and language team. Experience of complex physical and medical needs is desirable; however an aspiration to enable students to learn and achieve meaningful independence is essential.

- Experience working with a student and delivering BSL (British Sign Language).
- A BSL Qualification of at least BSL Level 2.
- Available for work immediately or able to begin working at the college at short notice.
- A Degree in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology or similar subject will be a huge bonus!
