SEN teaching assistant position available for January 2020 – autism support

A lovely school based near Bromley has work available for an SEN teaching assistant starting Monday 6th January 2020. The school is an SEN school and provides tailored education for students with moderate learning difficulties – autism and associated social difficulties.

The ideal candidate for this kind of work:

  • Available to work full time, 5 days a week, 08:30am – 16:00pm, term time only
  • Happy to work with secondary aged students
  • Experience supporting children with autism – students at this school are verbal, but have moderate social and communication difficulties
  • Able to work collaboratively with the class teachers and other TAs

The school has grown steadily over the last 7 years, and provides outstanding education for children who have autism, including some associated challenging behaviour and other mild special needs including dyslexia and dyspraxia.
