Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking youth workers to help support challenging behaviour within a specialist school in Bournemouth. The school covers all ages ranges from Primary all the way through to Secondary age. We have opportunities for general support within groups and working on a 1:1 basis. If you are a youth worker or have experience as a teaching assistant, this role is ideal for you.

Work type - Daily cover work with flexible working hours, term time only - Opportunities for semi-permanent and full-time positions all available. Requirements - Youth work experience - Teaching assistant experience - Experience or ability to work with EBD, ADHD. Additional Requirements: This particular post may occasionally require successful applicants to drive to locations with a passenger. Therefore a full driving license with business insurance would be necessary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
