Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN?

Teaching Personnel works closely with an SEN School based in the Blackburn area which provides education and support for pupils with SEN and the school currently caters for KS3/4/5 pupils.

The School is based on the outskirts of Blackburn and there is ample parking on site and close links to public transport. The School are seeking Teaching Assistants to initially start on a supply basis, the School are looking for hard working candidates who are willing to initially work on an ad-hoc basis but who are looking for a long term role eventually.

The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who have a range of special educational needs including; Autism, PMLD, Physical Disabilities and ADHD.

The candidate will ideally be;

- Available full time

- Have experience working with pupils with SEN

- Looking for a long term role in a forward thinking school

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
