Biology Teacher – South Liverpool
Full time Biology Teacher required for a secondary school in Biology on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year.
Due to an upcoming maternity in the Science department from January 2020, our partner school in Woolton, South Liverpool are seeking an inspirational and engaging Teacher of Biology until the end of the academic year in the first instance..
- Full time Teacher of Biology required from January 2020
- Fixed term contract until July 2020 in the first instance
- Opportunity for a permanent role for the perfect candidate
- Prospective candidates ideally should be Biology specialists, although Chemistry and Physics specialists also encouraged to apply
- Teaching in specialism up to GCSE level
- Small secondary school situated in Woolton
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
This over subscribed catholic secondary academy located in Woolton has recently undergone a new build, and falls under the Liverpool Archdiocese. The school caters for 11-16 pupils working towards and achieving GCSE results, and has a sixth form attached.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach within their specialism up to KS4 level, with general science being taught to KS3 students. The department are passionate about collaborative planning to reduce the workload of staff, as well as ensuring the quality of teaching and learning is to the highest standards.
