Biology Teacher - Sheffield

Teacher Science to Key Stage 4 & Biology to key Stage 5

Pay up to £800 per week, dependent upon experience

Covering long-term absence, potentially full academic year

A large Academy in Sheffield are looking to recruit a Fully Qualified Science Teacher, specialising in Biology, to join their successful and improving department to start immediately, this role is to cover a long-term absence and could potentially continue until Easter 2018.

The school provides a high quality of teaching that excites, motivates and challenges all pupils and would expect the successful candidate to continue this ethos. To be considered for this role you will be required to:

- Hold UK recognised QTS.

- Provide evidence of recent experience teaching GCSE Science.

- Be able to commit to the role until the end of the academic year

- Provide recent references covering your latest teaching positions.

- Have excellent subject knowledge in Biology

- Committed to safeguarding

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
