Biology teacher - Maternity Knowsley Secondary School - September 2018 start

Our client school in Knowsley, Merseyside are looking to appoint a Science teacher for an upcoming maternity in September 2018.

This is a full time Science teaching initially on a 12 month basis covering maternity leave. The incoming Science teacher will be required to deliver all Sciences to KS3 with a specialism for Biology for GCSE teaching being beneficial; however there is room for manoeuvre within the science department's timetable.

This traditional mixed catholic secondary school are looking to appoint a motivated and successful science teacher who will be able to hit the ground running and continue the example of the departing science teacher. There will be an expectation to take on full teaching responsibilities for planning and marking your own work with the school currently having a positive Progress 8 score.

Situated in the L34 post code of Liverpool the school is currently going through a transitional period and re-structure. Interviews will be commencing in the first week of the new academic year so you must attend to be successful for the Science maternity.
