Job description

Teaching Personnel work with a Burnley based School which provides education and support for KS3/4 pupils who have SEMH Difficulties, ADHD, Autism and Learning Difficulties. Most of the pupils in School will display challenging behaviours and therefore candidates must have experience working with pupils who are harder to reach and/or display difficult behaviours. Ideally the candidate will be Team Teach trained but this is not essential.

The School is smaller than average and currently caters for approximately 40 - 45 pupils, predominantly male although they do have some female pupils. The School is located centrally in the Burnley area and the School hours are 8.35 am - 3.25 pm.

The role is to start in September and the candidates must be willing to work one voluntary day in School prior to the role starting. The role will be full time and is likely to continue on a temporary basis until at least Christmas but more than likely it will be for the full academic year.

The candidate must be hard working, have experience supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties/Challenging Behaviours and the candidate must be available full time from September.

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 60 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
