An exciting opportunity to work across 'Good' and ‘Outstanding’ schools located in and around Sheffield have become available with us at Teaching Personnel! We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated KS1 and KS2 classroom Primary Teacher that would fit this role perfectly on a temporary basis starting in October with the opportunity to lead to a long-term role for the right candidate. We work with a wide range of Primary schools across Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster.

This role will implement and deliver an appropriate broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for all pupils as well as facilitate, support and monitor the overall progress and development of the children. The post holder will also foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential.

Role requirements and expectations for a Primary Teacher role:

  • Hold a QTS or equivalent
  • Have a genuine interest in child development and education
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • To work closely with the primary school to ensure expectations are understood and support can be given
  • To have good behaviour management skills and confidently run lessons for classes of up to 30 students
  • To be compassionate and have an understanding of SEN / EAL / additional needs and how to adapt within the classroom to ensure all pupils have an equal opportunity in their learning environment
  • To deliver pre-planned lessons - To have an understanding of the national curriculum and how to promote learning and development in line with this

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
