Behavioural Specialist Teaching Assistant

Job description

We at Teaching Personnel are looking for a person to work in one of our Shool's in Hammersmith, close to Hammersmith Station. The School's SENCO is really strong and passionate on SEN, this will mean the inspiring individual will have experience in SEN, but specialises in behavioural challenges. We would like someone that demonstrates care, patience and understanding towards young children. You must show genuine passion to express the skills you have gained previously, whether it's from working in SEN, having a degree or even personal traits. You need the willingness to strive to reach each child's full potential, working with groups and also one to one.

The right person will:

  • Be available to start in April.
  • Have experience in SEN, majoring in behavioural challenges, phonics, and nurturing and behaviour mentor.
  • Have the passion for helping children to learn.
  • Career progression with in the School or build on your experience.

Extra consideration will be made on:

  • Extra relating courses.
  • Trained- Phonics or Makaton.
  • Degree/ psychology or child related

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
